Home cooked food in beautiful surroundings

You don't need to be a diver, triathlete or open water swimmer to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Blue Lagoon. Our warm welcoming cafe is open 6 days a weeks (check home page for opening times). With a superb log burning stove for the colder days and outdoor seating for the glorious summer months it's the perfect stop off whilst out walking, cycling or running. Our food is freshly prepared and featuers some of our home style baking of both sweet and savories.

Layout (map)

The lake has a maximum depth of 11 metres, and we currently have training platforms, 2 boat wrecks, a howitzer field gun, sabre light tank and a hawker hunter jet plane in addition to the possible sighting of some of our aquatic friends such as sterlets, roach, tench, carp, newts, frogs, toads and the new addition of sturgeon. Features will be added on an ongoing basis, so be sure to come along and find out what's new.

Dive Centre

In April 2000, Above & Below joined the ranks of premier diving facilities and became a PADI dive centre, store #3723. Since this time the business has seen continued growth with not only the retail facilities, but also increased training to the extent of being ranked in the UK top 10%, as a PADI 5* Instructor Development Centre. We have also received recognition awards for quality, environmental awareness and service provision. In November 2005, we were recognised in the UK Business Awards – runners up in the contribution to the community category.
